I'm fairly new to RPing and I'm a Sherlock looking for a Johnlock pairing. I'm not against smut but I've never written any before and I'm not sure I'd like it so I may very well be incredibly cliched to start.

That being said I'm willing to try almost anything. I'd love to go on a case or two and I'd prefer not to just do purely fluff. Fluff is great just not all the time.

I wouldn't mind RPing with other characters also but I'd prefer to keep the pairings to either Johnlock or whatever the name of Sherlock/Lestrade is. I've never done Sherlock/Lestrade before, but I like the pairing.

I agree with not a lot of fluff. Too much fluff is bad. Btw, ive never done a slash or a pairing. Teehee. So inexperienced!

It's all good that's just what I started out with. Would you be willing to do slash? (doesn't have to be smutty. I've never done smut before anyway.) Also if there's a case involved or really anything with side characters in it would you want to split them or something? It seems like most of the yard is inactive on this site and I can sortof write Lestrade. I'm fairly ok at Mrs. Hudson as well.

I guess that's just semantics and we can get to all that later. I'm pretty casual and I usually just fall into it. The plot develops in my head and gets more detailed as it goes on. (I'd obviously be collaborating with you on it at the time.)

With the Sherlock adaptation I'd usually start out with them texting to keep it simple at first. Then whichever one of them gets home and they can actually interact from there. We don't have to do it that way it just helps me organize my thoughts and I think the texting aspect is a fun part of it. It makes it so different from the older versions.

I just realized I should make a Mrs. Hudson profile. Has anyone done that yet? lol.

Oh! There is a Mrs. H, but we can have more! And I personally don't care whether slashes are smutty, it can progress as we go along I suppose. If you like, the people rp-ing can move the minor characters in their posts, back and forth, or one person can move a minor character by themselves. Ive been reading a lot of rps, so that's how I'm learning the ropes.

I like action as well, but I never got to do iyt because my rps got to right before the action and then everyone got busy. My rps are Carl Powers Case- Teen style! And Potter!lock- Its Magical..... Both of those are Johns.

Yeah I saw part of those. I'm not a huge AU fan (in terms of RPing) at least not until I'm more comfortable with the regular universe. The teenlock sounded cool though. I've wondered about that case a lot. I like Skype RPs just because they're easier to update. Do you have a skype? If you don't want to RP from that it's ok. Were you thinking of anything in particular plot-wise?

Uh....... No skype, and no really brilliant ideas for anything... Wow, staying up till midnight wrecks your imaginative thinking skills...

Wanna just start writing and see what comes out? That's what I usually do. And wait I thought slash just meant pairing as in Sherlock/John. Slashes have plots?

Edit: Pre or post Reichenbach is something we should settle upon beforehand though.

Hah. Whatever names are stupid. Yeah, I'd like them to get together but not at first. I figured we could make the characters grow into that. I Don't care whether we do a Post TRF or pre. I think their reunion would be interesting to write. Which do you prefer?

Sure, No problem! And that's a very canon reaction. lol I share horrid sleeping habits with Sherlock so I might not be on until early afternoon though. But I'll definitely be on. I'll put the pairing (Johnlock) on it too so it's not confusing incase there's an Irene/anyone-else-most-likely-Sherlock RP named that already.
