Anyone from London or close who is going to the Sherlock meetup on Saturday?

I was thinking of going, but I know no one, so yes, I was wondering if anyone from here is going? I am rather sure it's improbable, but I thought it was worth a shot ^^

I am a woman so not particularly - I do have a longish jacket..so will have a think...

Yeah we totally should. Everyone is supposed to be meeting at 1:45pm at Trafalgar Square...but how will us lot recognise each other?

We could maybe arrange to meet somewhere else first nearby...a little earlier? Or just give really brilliant descriptions of ourselves to each other. I don't mind either way.

I wasn't sure about the pub quiz, because I wasn't sure I would make friends with any one, not knowing any one to begin with XDD but since we are meeting up I could stay ^^ even though I am rubbish, like seriously, I hardly remember my name >> and I haven't yet read the books!
I don't normally like crime drama/books, I like sci-fi and fantasy, it took me a while to get around to Sherlock as well! And then I got blown off by it! I read a lot though, so I shall read the book soon...
er.. that was to say, my being in your team won't help you XD but I will sit there and smile and joke and support the other members if you want me to ^^

OK you can sit there and smile and not know any of the answers. Sounds good. I'm a bit more confident on the books but haven't read all of them. Hopefully we can find some more team members anyway. I've arranged to meet up with a couple of people off Tumblr too...although we haven't been organised and swapped numbers, it's just going off descriptions people have given me so hopefully my mind palace won't let me down. xD

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr........,.. you guys get to do Sherlock stuff, while the only Sherlock stuff in th US are in New York and Southern California............. nowhere remotely close to me......... grrrrrrrrrr....... and people ask why I want to move to London...... grr

It was so great meeting you both yesterday! I had an AMAZING time!! Shame we didn't do very well on the quiz or the scavenger hunt but next time we'll do so much better, I'm going to start doing my research and finish reading all the books, I will not be caught out again, lol!!!

@John, it was so much fun being in character with you nearly the whole day and thanks for escorting me to the train station. I'd really like to see some of the pictures you took on your phone though...can you email them to me or something?? Also, let's do some of those RP ideas we talked about...the John getting married one and Sherlock being jealous, sounded good.

Anyway, we'll have to keep our eyes open for the next time any kind of meet up is organised and do it all again! And we totally have to act out more scenes like we did, that was so much fun. But we should actually film it next time!

@Anthea, and you should totally wear your blue Anderson suit.

I am going to try and run a Moriar-tea party for charity locally..but I do have space if people need to stay. Will keep you all posted..I am being naughty - laptop on bike at marathon..watching TGG..

First of all: Lucky you and I'm glad to hear you had fun! I would love to get away from here (here means a place which is far away from everything and traffic jam is a three cars and a tractor...) and do something else but apparently it's not gonna happen. Never time to do anthing. Maybe some day, better day, spring day.
And there is dead mouse in the cupboard. Little fat mouse which would be cute if it weren't dead. Luckily it's not in the fridge and no one is allowed to do any experiments with it. (Who needs pub quiz when you have to figure out things like how to remove mouse from the trap without actually touching it? )
