It all starts one day, a few pints (John Watson/James Moriarty)

Jim swallowed loud, still looking concerned at John. "I could put protection on you." He suggested. "Both of you." He then looked over at Sherlock. "Undercover missions and protection are one of my companies specialties." He explained, hoping that if he offered them help, it would remove a bit of the still present doubt.

"I just want you to be safe, you see." He added and smiled at his boyfriend.

Sherlock raised one eyebrow at Jim. Pff, really? Must be good protection then. Huh. He thought, but didn't say anything.

He jeered at Jim's last remark, but again, said nothing about it. Why was he reticent about making comments now? He flopped with his back on the couch again, sighing deeply.

John laughed a bit: "Why are you so worried? I just said I don't think I am in danger," he said, and he would have leaned in to pat Jim's knee, but he felt self-conscious in front of Sherlock so he just settled back with a shrug.

(Skipping is fine, but what are we skipping to? O.o )
